FIRE CERTIFICATION, Inspection, Testing and Maintenance
Inspection, Testing and Maintenance
All inspection and testing is strictly performed to Australian Fire Maintenance Standards. We provide reports for all systems on a six monthly basis and quote on necessary rectification works where possible.
Fire Safety assessment – Annual Fire Safety Statements (AFSS)
We provide the necessary assessment, report and certification that is required for compliance with the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2000 Part 9 and local council requirements. We can carry out any rectification work that is required for certification. If you wish to use your own preferred tradespeople to carry out repairs, we’re happy to accommodate and work with them provided that they are fully insured and licenced.
Installation and Upgrade of Fire Safety Systems
We install, upgrade and modify all essential fire services to comply with any council requirements. We translate fire orders, negotiate with council and modify and install fire safety systems.
FIRE EQUIPMENT TESTING TO ENSURE YOUR FIRE SYSTEM IS READY FOR EMERGENCY USE
Fire equipment testing and inspection is a necessity for any building owner or manager to keep their occupants and buildings safe. Melbourne Fire and Maintenance based in Yarraville, performs thorough fire equipment testing and inspections according to Australian Standards AS1851-2012 to certify that assets are ready for use in the event of fire.
Inspection frequencies for fire equipment testing vary greatly from weekly up to annually or longer. Our fire system testing services ensure every asset is thoroughly tested, results are accurately recorded in log books as required, and defects are reported.
